I am a big fan of foundation having some luminosity, which led me to pick up L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation. With the hype of this foundation all over on YouTube and in the beauty community, it was on the list to try.
The main concern I had before the purchase was if my shade would be available. As a WOC the color ranges are very limited on our end of the color spectrum.
Needless to say, I picked up the wrong shade the first time (shade 211 creme cafe).
Figuring I needed to go down one shade I grabbed (shade 210 classic tan).
This was my first time trying a foundation from L’Oreal’s Pro collection of foundations so I didn’t know what to expect.
The color match for me was the best with shade 210 classic tan, it’s more neutral and contains less red undertones than 211. L’Oreal only has only 4 shades for WOC. (sigh……)
Let that one set in…
If you fall into the 1 of 2 shades of brown then you can purchase this product.
Moving forward, the foundation is more fluid and is easy to apply with a makeup brush. It leaves the skin with a luminous glow that is great if you have normal to dry skin.
Coverage is more medium but, buildable without feeling cakey or over done. Typical wear time runs about 6 hours for me with product transfer if I happen to touch my face.
As someone who has sensitive skin, this foundation did cause my face to itch after a while. That was the biggest turn off for me for this foundation, unfortunately.
You can expect to pay around $12.99 for the 12 shades that are offered. It’s cheaper on Amazon than the drugstore.
